For those who love ski racing but do not want to move on to FIS and the serious stuff there has been little opportunity to continue ski racing between the ages of 18 and 30. To bridge this gap the committee suggests that race organisers open Masters events up to competitors aged 18 and above.
Competitors aged 18 - 29 will race in one age class, with the 5 year age classes starting from age 30 in line with the FIS rules.
This brings New Zealand in line with the US Masters.
