Age Classes

The age of a competitor is now determined by their age on the 31st December of the competition year. This brings us in line with the FIS Masters rules.

The competition year runs from 1 July to 30 June the following calendar year.

For example, if you turn 30 on the 31st December 2016 you will race in the 30 - 34 age class in races held between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2017.

Note that your age class in the Snowplanet masters may be different to your age class in the Mt Hutt masters because they are in different competition years.
